Free press release distribution service in India

Talking about Open Source PR, I came across this new site -India PRwire - which distributes press releases free of cost through six major search engines including Google, Yahoo, and MSN.

Again another nice initiative and very useful for PR folks. Compare this with other press release distribution services that charge around Rs. 4000 per release distribution. Many Indian PR agencies and other companies have started using its services too.

One recommendation to IndiaPRwire is that it can start developing its media contact list to send news releases to, in addition to the search engines. It would be great then. And of course, I believe many PR professionals can also help it in developing the media list, if required. After all, this is an open service for all in the India PR industry.
