India PR community at Flickr

I got a comment on my last post at Indianpad offering me another alternative to share pictures on Flickr. He said I could created a community at Flickr, let everyone join that community and post their pictures. Then I let the Flickr tool pick up pictures from there. Pretty basic but cool. How could have I skipped it? This is definitely better than my earlier plan, for two basic reasons:
- If somebody plans to post some unpleasant pictures, we can remove him/her from the community.
- As the community grows, may so be the bonding between the PRkinds of India.
Will this succeed? I don’t know. Depends on everybody. But let’s try. I have created the group. It’s called - India PR. You can register yourself there as a community member.
How to share your pictures to the group?
The FAQ at Flickr explains - The easiest way add a photo to a group is to go to the photo’s page, and click on the “Send to Group” button that you should see between the photo title and the photo itself. Click that, then choose the group you want to send it to, and you’re done!
So let’s see how many of us are interested. I have already posted some pictures of the last PRSI event.
