Let’s use Flickr to share PR pictures on this blog

So many things written about how PR people can use Flickr. I tried most of it, but the best for me is simply surfing the site and get lost in its amazing collection of pictures posted by amateur and professional photographers across the globe.

Now I’m using a Flickr tool to get pictures tagged ‘art’ on this blog, which shows random pictures with that tag on this site (see. right hand section). Looks great to me. I wonder if my fellow PR people in India or elsewhere would like to contribute their pictures for this blog. How to do this? We can use this tool to post our PR event and other pictures related to PR, which we want to showcase to other PR fellows.

To start with, all that one needs to do is register on Flickr and start uploading pictures. Just remember that while you are tagging your pictures, make sure you include this term - Indiapr - as one of the tags. Thats it. I’ll then direct the flickr tool to search for pictures tagged with Indiapr. Viola! All our pictures are shown here on this blog randomly everytime someone opens this site. Anyone interested?

PS: Those who are thinking of having some fun by uploading some funny pictures and linking them here, read Flickr’s community guidelenes :-) and better adhere to them, unless you want them to kick you out.
