IPAN appointed official PR agency for 11th Wharton India Economic Forum 2006

IPAN has been appointed the official PR agency for the 11th Wharton India Economic Forum 2006 (WIEF). WIEF 2006, the premier student-run business forum focusing on India, will take place on November 11, 2006 at the Doubletree Hotel in Philadelphia, US. Established in 1996, this year marks the eleventh year of the conference and also coincides with the 125th anniversary of The Wharton School. The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Realizing the Indian Dream.’

The past decade has seen India at the forefront of the global business and political landscape. Though the success has been attributed to myriad factors such as the country’s focus on information technology, favourable economic policies, and a growing number of ambitious entrepreneurs, the common thread underlying all of these initiatives is the Indian Dream. Although the Indian Dream parallels the idea of the American Dream, WIEF seek to further delve into what exactly constitutes India’s ideal for success. WIEF 2006 will serve as the platform for thought leaders to define their perception of this dream.

Said Mr Vivek Sengupta, President, IPAN, “We are delighted to be the official PR partners for the Wharton India Economic Forum 2006. It is an honour and a privilege to be associated with a brand like Wharton. Over the years, IPAN has worked for a large number of world-leading brands. This partnership adds to the list. We look forward to working with WIEF to be a part of the unravelling of the India story.”
