    Hey HH….

Cool survey… but few questions like best day to issues a press release, best method, Press releases most likely picked up by media…all these things depend on various factor. For example If your pitching in Property page of any paper which more likely come on Saturday or Sunday, then the day to pitch the story would be different from if your pitching lets say in product launch section which may come on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, or any other day depending on the paper and they day will be different if your are pitching in feature section. So which is the best day to pitch depend on what section do you have in your mind and on what day does it come.

Similarly those press releases will interest the journalists, which cater to their section. For example for product launch sec. Launch will charm, where as for business page new business, or what’s happening in business world will interest. So it really depend on what section of the paper are we looking at.
Again best method to pitch also differ from journalist to journalist, if we know the concerned person or not, and lot of other things, like what is that particular journalist preference etc.

Hope you also agree with me.

    Cheers!
